Ticket to Work
Ticket to Work, a program overseen by the Social Security Administration, helps people receiving Social Security benefits become employed. People with disabilities receive their Ticket to Work from Social Security. Each ticket holder chooses an Employment Network to help them find and keep work. Staff and the person develop a plan together that leads to employment.
Elmview is an Employment Network, accepts individual Tickets, and works directly with people with disabilities to help them find a job and to keep that job once employed.
People between the ages of 18 and 64 who are receiving Title II disability cash benefits or Title XVI payments based on adult disability or blindness standards (SSA/SSDI), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
Each person who has a Ticket to Work chooses the Employment Network with which they wish to work. Elmview is an Employment Network.
